Saudi Arabia's Green Mountains — A World Apart from the Desert
Most people don't know that Saudi Arabia has lush, misty mountain highlands rising over 3,000 meters, where cool breezes replace desert heat, terraced farms cascade down cliff faces, and ancient stone villages cling to impossible ridgelines. The Asir region is this Arabia — dramatic, green, and deeply traditional.
This 2-day expedition takes you to the heart of Asir, featuring a trek through Rijal Almaa — a UNESCO-recognized ancient village whose multi-story stone tower houses, decorated with colorful geometric patterns, have stood for centuries. We'll also visit the dramatic Al Soudah mountain peaks and the cable car overlooking the valley.
